Oxfam international and Action Aid have launched the Grow Campaign and the Hunger Free campaign respectively. The two campaigns, which have similar goals, aim to tackle the unequal global food system as part of their Economic Justice work in the world, and in Rwanda in particular, they are in line with Action Aid and Oxfam’s broader agenda of promoting economic justice for all, which they envision to achieve by harnessing efforts of all NGOs working on economic justice in Rwanda, in a bid to optimise the contribution of the civil society to the development process in Rwanda in general and to the agriculture sector in particular. Civil Society Organisations along with Oxfam International and Action aid came together to create a coalition that is meant to provide a framework for coordinated action in the agriculture sector, avoid duplication and enhance outreach and advocacy power of the civil society, while serving as a channel through which the voices and needs of the most vulnerable people in the community are brought at the forefront of policy formulation, to ensure that government priorities are shaped to reduce vulnerability and respond to the needs of those most likely to be affected by the social injustices.

The National Institute of Statistics of Rwanda (NISR) was created in October 2005 as an independent institution to replace the former Department of Statistics in the Ministry of Finance and Economic Planning (MINECOFIN) and the National Bureau of Census.

As the primary data producer, NISR produces mandatory statistics such as the Gross Domestic Product (GDP), Consumer Price Index (CPI), Producers Price Index (PPI), External Trade figures, Population Statistics and other special purpose-statistics from surveys such as the Demographic and Health Survey (DHS), Household Living Conditions Survey (Enquete Integrale sur les Condition de vie des ménages or EICV in French), Census and others. It also conducts specific joint surveys such as Agriculture Survey, Service Provision Assessment Survey in partnership with the relevant institutions.

The ByteSpeed website was designed by The Web Shoppe and built on Drupal. The website is easy to maintain, allowing them to add, edit, and upload content and files as needed. Drupal was adapted to accommodate the large files that are available in the Downloads and Drivers section. The products section allows visitors to request a custom quote based on the options and specifications of each product.

Penton Media is a large US based publisher with more than 100 web sites including Restaurant Hospitality. Traditionally, these web sites are housed on a variety of legacy content management systems. Due to various technologies and sheer number of systems involved, Penton was not able to accomplish its digital goals at the pace it would like to. Therefore, it started a major project to build a single content management system (based on Drupal) to control the vast majority of these web sites. The Drupal Development team at Tekriti Software is helping Penton Media by migrating these web sites from a variety of legacy content management systems to a new Drupal based platform.
